Financial Literacy on Instagram

How do you make content about finance basics stand out on social media?

We researched industry best practices, met with consultants at Meta, and formed a strategy that would hopefully stop our audience from scrolling right past our stories.

The holidays are a great opportunity to drive engagement on social. So we focused on crafting monthly content that tied into a holiday or celebratory event, sharing bite-sized but timeless financial literacy education.

Leading with animations, we developed 12 videos deployed as posts, Stories, and Reels on Vanguard’s Instagram. They’ve all outperformed our social media benchmarks by at least 20%. These three videos are a glimpse into the campaign. Head over to Vanguard’s Instagram to see them all.
